Basalt, diabase, granite, river pebbles and other stones belong to the high hardness, and the silicon content is high, in the actual crushing operation is more difficult to break, or the crushing cost is higher materials. Generally speaking, basalt and diabase are hard and tough materials, granite is hard and brittle materials, and pebble hardness is relatively low, but the silicon content is high. Therefore, the crushing process of these materials should be designed reasonably, and the production cost of the production line must be considered while considering the investment cost of the crushing project.

In the actual crushing operation, the raw material of some customers is limestone, the loss of the jaw plate is very low, and the service life of a pair of jaw plate is a very common phenomenon. This is because the hardness of limestone is not only very low (4 to 5 grades), but also the silicon content in the stone is very low, and the abrasion resistance of the wear parts of the crusher is very low.

In the crushing operation of basalt and granite, the loss of wear-resistant parts such as jaw plate, plate hammer and counter plate is very high. The customer's production cost is much greater than the production cost of limestone. Therefore, in the design of the crushing process, we should choose the crushing equipment based on the lamination principle as much as possible to reduce the loss of wear-resistant parts. The typical laminating equipment configuration is a two-stage jaw break or jaw break plus cone break process configuration. If the customer has higher requirements for the final stone particle type, we can configure a counterattack breaker for stone integral crushing, so as to form a three-stage crushing process configuration. The three-stage crushing will inevitably lead to a higher investment cost of the project, but for the long-term operation of the stone factory, the production cost reduced by the three-stage crushing is very considerable.

For the above refractory materials, the two-stage crushing process of jaw breaking and counter breaking can also be adopted. However, this will inevitably lead to high loss of the broken plate hammer, short life of the plate hammer, and a higher proportion of the returned material, which are worthy of the attention of manufacturers and customers.

The impact crusher is characterized by the ability to produce high-quality granular stone, with the dual performance of crushing and shaping; Good grain shape stone can add better mechanical properties to the building, and has a higher price in the market, of course, the wear cost of the counter-broken wearing parts is also higher than that of the same production of fine broken jaw and cone. Needle flake stone and natural smooth stone are difficult to achieve the mechanical properties of multi-edge cubic stone in architectural use. Therefore, the attack breaks the stone crushing yard mainly used for construction, and provides high-quality granular stone for roads, railways, airports, wharves and high-rise buildings.

If the market has certain requirements for the grain shape of the finished stone, and the user wants to reduce the ton cost of the wearing parts, the coarse jaw break/cone break can be considered as the coarse break and the second break, and the impact crusher is placed on the third crushing position, which mainly plays the role of the whole type.
